The well-equipped 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment sleeps 6 comfortably and is located on the entire bottom floor of the farmhouse with its own private entrance and includes  WiFi both in the rental and outside by the pool.

You will find Casa bel Posto at the end of a beautiful, long umbrella pine lined driveway. The property is very secluded, with a completely fenced and spacious yard with a delightful view of Cortona. It boasts a considerably large swimming pool (24 by 48 feet) and is surrounded by small farms where you often find fields of vibrant sunflowers during the summer.

The delightful town of Cortona is just a few minutes drive from Casa bel Posto, perched dramatically on a hillside looking out over the Val di Chiana and Lago Trasimeno. Cortona has picturesque little streets, enchanting churches, museums, local shops and entertainment and well as a wide variety of delectable restaurants.

Tania & Keith, the owners of Casa bel Posto, along with their two friendly Labradors, live upstairs on the property and will welcome you to the property at the beginning of your stay. They are more than happy to help guests with local information, restaurant recommendations/reservations and give sight-seeing advice. They have spent the last 4+ years exploring the area and ferreting out the best of the best in local cuisine, wine and sights. Tania operates Journey to Enlightment Tours, a small custom-designed tour company specializing in the local area, and so is well versed in the local area and can offer guests personalized services upon request.
