Our family including two young children and Ballee, a chocolate lab spent a wonderful week at Casa bel Posto. From the beautiful well-maintained home and property to the owners two sweet labs, Murphy and Stella, we loved every minute of our visit. The girls had a ball swimming in the pool after sightseeing in Cortona and the adults loved both swimming and lounging poolside. The pergola was always a favorite destination for a glass of vino; for a moment to just sit and relax; to enjoy a meal; or to have an olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting with Keith, one of the owners. The owners suggested wonderful local markets to shop at and the cooks in the family loved preparing tasty fresh meals with delicious veggies, fruits, local meats, and of course wine. The shops and restaurants that Tania and Keith recommended in Cortona were also highlights of our visit and we would all love to return. The property was all and more than we could have hoped for and Tania and Keith were excellent hosts and Murphy and Stella were a highlight for the girls. One week was not enough for us to see and experience all this area offers. We all felt like we were at the home of dear friends and we hope to return to explore more of this beautiful and interesting area of Italy!

We stayed here with our daughter, her husband and our three granddaughters. It was perfect for us. Keith and Tania had a bottle of sparkling wine and some food items to get us started on the week, because they knew we had traveled a long distance that day. The location was perfect for day trips to Orvieto, Arezzo, Perugia, Pienza and Montepulciano. The girls loved the pool and the two dogs, Murphy and Stella. We will all have fond memories of Casa bel Posto.

Our family (2 adult children, 2 Senior Parents) stayed at Casa Bel Posto during our Italy Vacation last spring. We were welcomed into a warm and well equipped house by Tania and Keith, the proprietors. The directions to find the house were excellent, the house was wonderful! Specifically, the kitchen was clean, well equipped, and had all the essentials for cooking in the house. The bedrooms were spacious, well appointed, well lit and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean, well appointed and very up to date. We had full access to the large yard too. They have a gorgeous pool, but the weather was too cool for us to enjoy. In addition to these features, I think the most outstanding feature were the proprietors. Tania and Keith are by far the most personable and welcoming owners of any B&B I've ever stayed with. They helped with directions to all the local sites, favorite restaurants (which were all excellent!). The shared their local knowledge of wines, olive oils. They welcomed us the first night with some delicious food (since we were arriving late). They placed an honor wine rack in the kitchen with modest priced, excellent local wines they selected. I would recommend this property and venue to anyone traveling in this area. It's outstanding and I would stay with them again any time I was in Italy !! Don't Miss this one !!

Our aim was to shorten the pain of the eastern canadian winter and at the same time practice our italian. We've been taking courses together for three years. Casa bel Posto was perfect for us! Three friends who each live alone at home and need our own space as well as camaraderie. The three bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable. The common living spaces are all large enough and welcoming, perfect to enjoy together. The countryside is quiet and great for a walk or bicycle ride. Sitting around an outdoor fire was certainly something we couldn't do back home! Tanya and Keith have gone the extra mile : there are quality linens, scented soaps, pretty dishes, lovely little touches everywhere you look. We rented a car from Il Girasole, as recommended by Tanya, and had a fantastic time exploring the tuscan countryside with italian music in the background from the complimentary CD provided by Massimo who was nice enough to pick us up at the train station and then lead the way to Casa bel Posto.. We took the half day wine tour with Tania and it was great fun. We tasted some excellent wines. We also took the cooking course with Alessandra Federici, a really enjoyable day. We'd like to go back some day, there's so much more to see and do.

Never has a week gone by so fast! Keith & Tania welcomed us with a chilled bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed sitting in the shade of the trees while they told us about the property and what to do and where to go in the surrounding area around Cortona. Casa Bel Posto was everything we had expected and more. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and the beds extremely comfortable. We slept very well - the only sound that of an occasional owl! Although we ate out most nights, the kitchen was well supplied. Coming from chilly England, it was lovely to enjoy the warm sunshine sitting beside the pool. The comfortable sofas in the pergola offered a lovely shady place to escape the sun. The farmhouse is surrounded by fields of sunflowers and I can only imagine how wonderful it must be when they are all in bloom. Murphy, the Labrador, quickly became our newest best friend! Cortona is a delightful old hilltop medieval town. Parking was easy and we took the escalator up to the centre of the old town. We had three memorable meals in Cortona, at La Bucaccia, Trattoria Toscana and Osteria del Teatro. Thank you Keith & Tania for recommending them to us. Not to be missed - Keith's informative talk about olive oil production and a cooking class with Alessandra. Very many thanks to both Keith & Tania for giving us such a wonderful relaxing holiday at your beautiful Casa Bel Posto - we hope to be back before too long!

Casa Bel Posto was everything we hoped it would be, comfortable, clean, roomy, well stocked, and friendly. The three bedrooms, two baths, living area, and kitchen were perfect for 5 adults. Tania and Keith were wonderful hosts, Murphy (the dog) was gentle and playful, and we would highly recommend Casa Bel Posto for a great Tuscany getaway. The town of Cortona was awesome, and the town of Camucia provided all the needs of daily living. The yard and pool were perfect for relaxation, and the house was comfortable even when it was very hot out. And the surrounding fields of blooming sunflowers made each day a joy to behold. You are also centrally located between Siena, Assisi, and Florence, all a day trip away. We give it 5 stars.

We stayed with friends and our 2 young children and found the house to be a great central location from which to see the rest of Tuscany. The pool really is huge- the kids absolutely loved it. The owners Keith and Tania (and their sweet dog) are very welcoming and helpful. Will highly recommend to friends.

Having just settled down as a "family" together in Santa Fe... our true beginning together started at Casa bel Posto. Tania and Keith were nothing short of amazing as they welcomed the 4 of us to the property , greeting us with Prosecco getting to know each other a bit before inviting us to a local Dried Pasta Festival that evening. We were blessed to meet their friends and felt really taken in by the community, even in the medieval village of Cortona. The villa itself was perfect for our family (each kid got their own room) spacious, beautifully decorated; we especially loved the pasta & fresh herbs & vegetables left for us ( a welcomed dinner since we had not shopped since Florence). The shutters in the bedrooms blocked out all sunlight (just how we like it) so, if sleep is on your menu you will have no problem (beds are comfy, too). The kitchen is fully equipped; we cooked a few times. The pool and Murphy (wonderful dog) were the highlights for the kids. The pool is huge! We loved the fire pit, hammock, private yard. We have to mention what Keith & Tania did to make our wedding a success.. Tania decorated the pergola in the yard with fresh flowers, hanging lights, lanterns, and set the most gorgeous dinner table with candles. Keith used a sword to open the bottle to celebrate our wedding reception dinner he prepared for us, steak, pasta salad, antipasto, Tuscan beans, salad. It was divine! We were blessed Keith, Tania, Lorenzo & Bronwyn could be with us...what great memories! :) Tania, another thank you to your amazing gift of photography and (Keith) hauling us all over the village of Cortona, during the wedding, and all over the countryside to get the amazing shots that you took for our wedding day. Both of you were integral parts to this fairy tale wedding day that we will never forget; and more importantly, two great friends. There's not enough room here to say all that we appreciate about you; but, we cannot wait to be back to stay! We <3 Cortona!
